For dumping a day old baby boy near a house in Yauri, Kebbi, 23-year-old Gambo Suleiman has been arrested by the  Kebbi State Police Command. The unmarried lady was reportedly reportedly dumped the baby behind a building at about 5 pm on Sunday evening, as an eyewitness identified as Malam Musa Yauri confirmed that the baby has been handed over to Yauri Local Government Authority, who in turn, handed over the baby to the Kebbi Orphanage Home, for proper care. The State Police PRO DSP Mustapha Suleiman, who confirmed the incident further told NAN that baby’s mother had been arrested. He also said investigation to unravel the suspect’s action had begun.

A Nigerian lady and Instagram user Agnes Enitan Marquis, has recounted an ugly incident that occurred at Apongbon area of Lagos leaving her stabbed multiple times. The lady who asked people to be more vigilant, wrote; “I wasn’t going to post anything about the incident but I saw that something similar happened to another lady recently and awareness needs to be raised – so people can be even more vigilant, and solutions can be sought. The 32-year-old successful businesswoman and mum of 3 recounted her right leg was dismembered in order to release her from the vehicle, and her left leg was severed instantly from impact by the guardrail at the scene of the accident. A student of the Federal University of Owerri, Imo State, has been brutalized by the school’s military outfit, Xboys. According to reports, some female students residing in New Orleans Lodge, Eziobodo, had called on the Xboys that their phones were stolen overnight. It was gathered that their description of the thief matched that of a male student, who was subsequently apprehended and beaten up. It was later discovered that he was innocent.

A Policeman attached to Anambra State Police Command and identified as Barau Garba, reportedly abducted and raped a 14-year-old child sent on an errand by her father, for 6 days. It was gathered that the girl who lost the money given to her by her father to buy round cotton, was approached by Barau as she tried identifying the car she boarded. Tests carried out at Federal Medical Center, Asaba confirms there was indeed a penetration. A 22-year-old lady, Tina Rebecca Sunday is currently being held by the Enugu State Police Command for reportedly killing her uncle, Friday Mathew, in an incident that happened at Independence Layout area of Enugu on Thursday, October 26, 2017. Tina a native Ikot Udobang Ukanafon, in Akwa Ibom State, who confessed to committing the said crime was arrested as she tried to flee the scene of the incident. However she claims the death of her uncle was accidental, as she struggled to escape getting raped by him. She further claimed that her late 48-year-old Uncle before his death, tried to sleep with her. However he became violent over it because of her continuous resistance.
