A student of Gateway Polytechnic, Igbesa, Ogun State, Aaliyah Kennedy, died over the weekend during labour. The baby didn’t survive. Friends and family members have since taken to Facebook to pay tribute to the young lady. We brought you a report yesterday, about a 19-year-old girl, Chiburuoma Boms, who was strangled to death and dumped inside septic tank in Port Harcourt, on Wednesday, January 24th. This was done by a relative who has now been confirmed to be her father. According to this new report, the dad defended his actions, saying she has been ill for more than 7 months, and her illness was believed to be because of her promiscuity and incest. The Edo State Police command has arrested a security guard who reportedly killed and burnt his  employer , a retired soldier identified as  Major Afisatu Ajuya  in Edo State. A couple who just had their wedding in the 1st week of the year were involved in a fatal accident on Saturday January 27. The accident was said to have occurred as a result of a road maintenance going, but the driver as unaware. The newlyweds are identified as Nyenyezi Kambuwa and Peter Malenga. The husband, Peter died on the spot, while his wife was severely injured, and is currently receiving treating at an undisclosed hospital. Imo State Governor  Rochas Okorocha  has told youths of the state that it is better to be thieves than to smoke weed. He made this statement while briefing the people of his state on his development plans for the community. While emphasizing the dangers of smoking weed, Okorocha reminded them that smoking weed is still illegal and the law will go after anyone who is involved in the business.
