Survivors of the tanker explosion which occurred in  Lagos  in the late hours of Thursday, really have a testimony to tell as they recounted the sad experience. A 41-year-old driver whose commercial bus was directly behind the ill-fated tanker laden with around 33, 000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit , stated that moment brought a glimpse of perhaps what the end of the world would look like. The Ile-Ife indigene disclosed that he was briefly knocked out by the sound of the explosion, but managed to regain consciousness and enough strength to force his way out of the bus through the front passenger seat. A recent exposure of widespread cult membership among female JSS students (Junior Secondary School) in Enugu State has left parents in fear, after the ugly news that young girls were initiated into various confraternities after passing through initiations that involved gang rape and orgies came to light. 34-year-old Nnamdi Ethelbert, Ogidi, who was arrested by detectives attached to the Anti-kidnapping Squad,  Imo State  Police Command after he  kidnapped  74-year-old Regina Nkwocha, from Umuanyika, Ngorokpala Local Government Area of Imo state, has confessed to the police that he and his gang members who are currently at large have abducted several persons out of which 15 of them were old women. The suspect who has a record of kidnapping old women had entered a negotiation for a N20million ransom alongside members of his gangs, when detectives busted their hideout at Umuaguma in Owerri west, Imo state on May 23, 2018. A student of New Covenant Christian College International, Makurdi Benue State, Moses Ape, has emerged with the best result, so far, in the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Ape scored a total of 354 in the examination to beat Ibukun Oduntan of Corona Secondary School, Agbara Ogun State who was initially celebrated on the Internet as the best student with a total score of 344 in the examination.
