The burial date of the late Former Kwara Governor, will be announced later as disclosed by a close family source. Before his death, Brigadier General Femi David Lasisi Bamigboye was the first Military Governor of Kwara State from May 1967 to July 1975, after it had been divided from the old Northern Region during the military regime of General Yakubu Gowon. He is an Igbomina man from Omu Aran, Irepodun local government area. Born 7 December 1940, he was succeeded by late Ibrahim Taiwo, preceded by Hassan Katsina His younger brother is Theophilus Bamigboye, another military ruler turned politician. Ritualists who stormed Oghara area of Delta State, beheaded a 60-year-old woman who buys and processes cassava into “garri” in front of her house, and also harvested the lady’s vital organs. A team of Nigerian doctors have been hailed after they successfully separated a set of conjoined twins at University of  Abuja  Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada. The doctors led by Dr Nuhu Kwajafa of the Global Peace Initiatives, on Tuesday carried out the operation successfully. Dr Nuhu Kwajafa confirmed the success of the operation, stating in a post on his Instagram account @nuhukwaj that it took them many hours to complete. Dr. Kwajafa also said the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, footed the bill.
