A Mobile police officer who was attached to a hotel in Lagos state has allegedly killed an innocent man. A man identified as Jude Chemezie, was killed by a Mobile policeman attached to Ileviaoje hotel at Ijegun Ikotun, Lagos, State. It was gathered that the deceased was heading home after going to buy drinks at the hotel, when the officer just started shooting recklessly, while chasing away some miscreants, and a bullet caught Chemezie in the head. Just some few days back, policemen in Lagos State made headlines for wrong reasons as they arrested a man who was rushing home to see his dying dad, for having 4 phones. According to a Twitter user, @saswordus, the arrested man told the Lagos policemen that he was given the phones to deliver to some people in the village. An HIV positive Kenyan  house help  has been sacked after she was caught breastfeeding the son of a popular actress, Jacqueline Nyamide, in the country. Speaking to a Kenyan Parent Magazine, Wibroda said that the incident became known after she got an anonymous tip while on a trip to Mombasa. Wibroda disclosed that she received a call that the house help was breastfeeding the child to make him stop crying. When my son, Xolani, was around 8 months old, I had to travel to Mombasa on a work assignment and so I left him under the care of a nanny whom I had trusted so much. While in Mombasa, I received an anonymous call from a person who informed me that my househelp breast fed my son whenever he cried,” Worse still she found out the maid was HIV positive. “I took the first flight back to Nairobi. I had to verify the information from my neighbours and in the process, I was informed that my nanny not only breastfeeds my son but was also living with HIV.” ...

A driver of the Oyo State-owned mass transit bus yesterday knocked down and killed a female secondary school  student  in Ibadan. The accident, which attracted other pupils, resulted in a mob attack on the bus, popularly called  Ajumose . People vandalised the vehicle by smashing the windscreen and side mirror. The mob attacked the driver, a middle-aged man, who was severely injured in the process. The accident occurred near Lafia Hospital, Mokola, Ibadan. Other students were also reported to have sustained varying degrees of injuries in the accident. A witness at the scene of the accident said: “The traffic was light. Pupils were going home. Suddenly, the bus appeared and hit them, killing a secondary school girl. Passengers alighted, but the mob apprehended the driver. A woman has stabbed her husband to  death  during a fight in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. The incident was reported to have happened yesterday at their residence. According to the wife, who is a teacher and a mother of two, she stabbed him in self defense, after being pinned down by the deceased, who was notorious for always beating her. When interviewed, the sobbing suspect said: “I didn’t kill him intentionally. He was always  battering me . Today, he pinned me down and started beating me again. I picked the knife to scare him, but I mistakenly stabbed him. I couldn’t have killed my husband intentionally. In the past, I used to run out of the house when being beaten, but today, he locked everywhere to prevent my escape. Nigerian actor, Mike Godson has revealed that he once asked Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim to marry him, but refused his proposal because he is too short for her to marry. Mike Godson shared a picture of the beautiful Ghanaian actress on his Instagram page and revealed in the caption of the photo Juliet Ibrahim rejected his marriage proposal because he is too short. A plane has been forced to make an emergency landing because of a passenger’s “unbearable” body  odour  which caused others around him to vomit and faint. The Transavia flight to the Spanish holiday island of Gran Canaria took off from Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands but was soon forced to make an emergency landing when travelers became distressed by the body odour of a passenger. Passengers said the man smelt like he hadn’t washed in weeks, he The smelt so bad other passengers started to faint and vomit. Staff on board the Transavia service reportedly tried to quarantine him in a toilet of the Boeing 737 before the pilots were forced to divert the flight. They landed in Faro in southern Portugal so the foul-smelling man could be removed from the flight. Tragedy struck in the early this morning in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra state, as a man stabbed his daughter to death in her sleep. The man identified as Cletus Aguluka has reportedly killed her daughter Onyinye with a knife, while she was sleeping. According to reports, the suspect, is currently on the run while the remains of the child has since been taken away by the police.

The Presidency as recently stated that former President Goodluck Jonathan is the worst ever President in the countries history. The Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, described ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, as the worst president Nigeria ever had. She stated this via Facebook, revealing that the President who was from Otueke in Bayelsa State, negleted his people and the level of deprivation during his tenure was also shameful. She said; “Bayelsa is a state abandoned by it’s most famous son, Goodluck Jonathan. “So before you complain that Jonathan and his National Assembly-bribing government betrayed your part of Nigeria, remember the good people of Bayelsa not only suffered deprivation but also bore the shame of giving Nigerians the worst President in the history of Nigeria. “Remember that Jonathan is from Otueke in Bayelsa state.”
