David Nnaji petitions Punch Newspaper after claiming he welcomed child with sidechick lailasnews
Actor David Nnaji has petitioned Punch Newspaper over publication alleging that he welcomed a child with another woman while his marriage to Jodie was still intact.
He says he welcomed his second child after his marriage with Jodie packed up in October, 2016.
David Nnaji took to his Instagram page to share a images of his petition. He added the below caption to the image;
On the 15th of July, PUNCH Newspaper (@punchnewspapers ) ascribed words unbecoming of a reasonable and sane human being to the very brief interview i granted them by phone, just to malign me for reasons best known to them.
As a result of their sad publication, some others, much like PUNCH helped to spread it.
It really doesn’t take much to cross check suspicious references or news before publication, knowing the possible implications.
Here is my public statement and reaction to that malicious publication.
They have since received my petition.

Sunday Scoop had earlier reported that he said he had a baby with another woman but his marriage to singer, Jodie, is still intact. He was reported to have said;
“I already confirmed on Instagram that I just had a baby girl. I don’t want to talk much about the identity of the mother because it is my personal life and I don’t want to make it public.
I haven’t gotten married to another woman and if I will be doing that, I will rather keep it private. If you study my lifestyle, you will see that I don’t put my life out there. I don’t comment on things people say.
My marriage to Jodie is still intact but she is not the one I just had a baby with. I did not take permission from anyone to get married and I don’t need to explain anything to anybody. I don’t even bother to dissuade any rumour because I am not interested.”
