Efforts are being made to a rescue a 14-year-old girl who was allegedly forced to marry a 50-year-old prophet in Benue state.
According to a report, about two weeks ago, the Behind Bars Initiative (BBI) received a complaint of Child Marriage/Child Abuse concerning the girl’s plight.

Alhaji Bukar Bolori, a prominent businessman in Borno state, has died. Before his death, Alhaji Bukar Bolori was one of the richest businessmen in the North. He is also the father of  Unmi Fatima Bolori , Aminu Atiku’s ex-wife. Aminu Atiku  is former Vice President Abubakar Atiku’s son. According to reports, Alhaji Bukar Bolori died in Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 after a brief illness. Alhaji Bukar Bolori died at the age of 92. His remains, pictured below, have since been buried according to the Muslim rites. Late Alhaji Bukar Bolori is said to have impacted many people’s lives in his state. He built the first factory (pioneer enemalware) in Maiduguri and also the first and only confectionery factory (Haske Sweets & confectioneries) in northern Nigeria in 1980 and 1982 respectively.
